How to read these
Each figure is the middle price among the vets that publish one: half charge less, half charge more. Where the price depends on the size of the pet, the figure shown is for a cat or a medium-sized dog, and the treatment's own page has every size.
A price on this list is a starting point, not a quote. Surgery prices in particular depend on your pet's weight and on what the practice includes, and the same operation can be £100 apart between two vets in the same street. The way to use this page is to find the treatment you need, note the typical figure, then look at the vets in your town to see who is above it and who is below.
About these prices: each figure is as published on the practice's own website on the date shown, VAT included where the practice says so, for the size of pet and the inclusions stated. Practices now have to publish a standard price list and keep it current (the rules), but the price you pay depends on your pet, so confirm with the practice before you book. Spotted a mistake?
