Run a practice? Verify your listing
Owners are already comparing your prices here. Verify the listing and you can correct anything we show, confirm your own prices so they are marked as yours, and reply to reviews. It is free, takes a minute, and we do not sell anything.
How we know it is you
No documents, no payment, nothing to install.
A code to your own domain
We email six digits to an address ending in your practice's own domain, the one your website uses. Free webmail addresses are refused, because anyone can open one. Takes a minute.
A record in your DNS
We give you a token to add as a TXT record on your domain. We check for it every hour and verify you automatically. Use this if your email is run by a group.
A file on your website
The same token, saved at /.well-known/vetpricer-verify.txt on your site. If you can edit your website you can do this without involving anyone else.
Whichever route you use, we email the address your website publishes to say the listing has been claimed, and the page shows the date. If the wrong person claims a practice, the practice finds out.
What you can do
- Correct the name, address, phone, website and opening hours
- Tell us where your price list is, so we read the right page
- Confirm the 36 standard prices yourself, marked "confirmed by the practice"
- Reply once, publicly, to any review of your practice
- Report a review that breaks the rules
What you cannot do
- Remove prices we have read from your own public price page
- Delete a review because you disagree with it
- Pay to move up a list, or to move a rival down
We keep reading your published page after you verify. If your published price and the one you send us disagree, we ask which is right rather than quietly picking one.
Why bother?
From 23 December 2026 for the big groups, and 23 March 2027 for everyone else, the rules require a standard price list on your website. We are reading those pages either way. A verified listing means the figures on our page are the ones you meant, what your prices include is shown, and anything an owner gets wrong about your prices has your answer next to it.
