How to choose a vet in Hull

Then check what the price includes. Two practices can both say "cat spay £150" and one of them means with pain relief, a pre-op blood test and a follow-up check while the other means without. The practice page lists the inclusions where the vet states them. A spay that costs £30 more and includes the post-op check is not more expensive.
Look at the rating with the number of reviews beside it. A 4.9 from 12 reviews tells you less than a 4.6 from 400. And look at who owns the practice. 12 of the 18 vets here belong to a big chain, the rest are independent or small groups. The chains charge more on average across the UK, though not everywhere and not for everything.
